NG Compressor Service Technician – Oil and Gas
Responsibilities:
-The role requires travel and direct interaction with customers and end users.
-The position will experience an unpredictable mix of individual and team-oriented work, sometimes during irregular conditions and long hours, in unsupervised environments.
-Technicians service clients’ rotating machinery (screw & reciprocating compressors, electric motors, and associated valving/ instrumentation.
-Perform start-up, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
-They are supported by a combination of manufacturers, in-house technical resources, and an inventory of parts and specialized tools.
-Troubleshooting of installed equipment.
-Support customers as directed, ensuring reliable and safe operation of equipment.
-Complete work orders, reports, and time sheets in compliance with company procedures.
-Perform repairs on other types of industrial equipment upon request.
-Communicate job-related problems and customer concerns with management and our team.
-Work as a team member, to guide or be guided without negativity.
-Perform all work with a total commitment to safety and quality.
Qualifications:
-Must have experience with Compressors.
-Strong work ethic, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communicating with customers.
-Can read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
-Self-motivated with an ability to work under minimal supervision and direction.
-Skilled in the use of hand and power tools and can determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to complete a job safely and efficiently.
-Safety-focused and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
-Adaptable, committed, and accountable
-High school diploma/general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Owns required tools (basic toolset).
-Must be able to stand for periods.
-Must be able to lift or move up to 75 lbs.
-Must be able to step, squat, bend, or stoop.
-Must be able to push, pull, and reach overhead.
Schedule:
-5 days on, 2 days off.
-14 days on, 14 days off.
-Day Shift only.
-Hours: 10-12 per day.
-Start: 7:00 – 7:30 a.
m.
Compensation and Benefits:
-Hourly compensation is DOE.
-Time and a half after 40 hours.
-Company Service Truck (late model).
