Shop Electronic Technician

POSITION SUMMARY The Electronics Technician performs all maintenance on equipment, learns paperwork and computer processes.
Skills are typically acquired by completion of the competency requirements.
Key Accountabilities • Perform and complete all essential functions required of Electronics Technicians • Coach/Mentor entry and lower electronics technicians • Knowledge of All Related Tools and Software • Able to use Engine/Transmission Diagnostic Software • Able to troubleshoot complex hydraulic and pneumatic problems • Able to troubleshoot complex control systems • Able to troubleshoot complex engine/transmission electronics • Able to tune and edit control software settings • Performs Installations and upgrades • Knowledge of SAP ,create and update work orders Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Ability to read, write and speak English to the extent that they are able to understand verbal and written instructions as well as give verbal and written instructions in English • Ability to use simple mathematical calculations • Skills required for this position are typically acquired through completion of on the job training as an entry level Electronics Technician • Must possess a vast knowledge of sensors used in oilfield electronics • Must complete FOCUS training upon hire • Must meet Competency Task List requirements for job role and complete Equipment Maintenance Task List • Performs work on his/her own as well as provides assistance to other employees as directed • Requires maintained eligibility to drive company vehicles • Must participate in all company provided training • Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies and procedures and applicable regulations Minimum Required Education • H.
