The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will perform administrative duties and tasks for the Shipping and Receiving department.
Job Responsibilities • Check-in and sign out drivers.
• Process shipping and receiving paperwork.
• Coordinate outbound and inbound appointments.
• Act as a liaison between warehouse and production.
• Handle receiving and finished goods questions.
• Process customer returns.
• Investigate customer shipping discrepancy claims.
• Handle outgoing & incoming parcel shipments on a daily basis.
• Maintain supply inventories.

• Maintain an organized and clean working area.
• All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
• All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.
Required Education and Experience Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Basic skill in Microsoft Office or other similar programs.
Preferred Education and Experience Highschool Diploma or GED equivelent.
SAP experience.
Working Conditions • Work is performed in an office setting.
• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
