SUMMARY OF THE ROLE: Crane Operator for Renewables - Heavy Lift and Transport Projects Office location - Abilene, TX Are you looking to take your career to new heights by working on some of the world’s most important engineering projects? WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Mobilization and demobilization of the assigned crane in relevant configuration Operating the crane in line with work standards and instructions Positioning and repositioning the load Performing periodic preventative and routine maintenance Ensuring all work is carried out safely and effectively WHAT YOU’LL NEED: Certified National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).
Professional level experience in heavy lifting operations and equipment and rigging operations and equipment.
Basic level experience in mathematics (arithmetic), hydraulics and mechanics English, basic proficiency verbal and written.
Safety training and certification, crane operating license if locally applicable.
Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables (wind turbines), oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining.
Three (3) years of relevant work experience in a technical or transport environment.
