Duties include cleaning, maintenance and repairs to facilities, buildings, equipment, vehicles and groundskeeping.
Operates various types of equipment to include mowers, trimmers, power tools, tractors, vehicles and other equipment as needed.
Performs general visitor assistance and assists with special events.
Works under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Complies with all Agency, Division and Branch rules, regulations and procedures.
NOTE: Temporary position contingent upon funding with fluctuating full-time/part-time hours based on operational needs.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Completion of 8th grade.
Experience: Experience in facility, equipment or grounds maintenance.
Licensure: If driving is required, applicant must possess a valid State driver’s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduation from High School or GED.
Experience: Six months of experience in areas such as general grounds, facilities or equipment maintenance; Experience working with the public.
