Position Summary: Wilks Brothers is looking for someone to landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment.
Someone to perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler inspection.
Key Roles / Responsibilities: Ensure the property grounds are well kept and clean.
Maintain gardening and weeding.
Assist with keeping the maintenance shop organized and adequately supplied.
Completion of assigned service request in a timely manner.
Rotation of after hours on-call schedule, including weekends.
Adherence to company safety standards.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of hangars, office spaces, employee break rooms and kitchens.
Perform common household tasks to maintain a clean workplace, including but not limited to: sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning walls and windows, disposing of trash, vacuuming and dusting.
Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
Inform the management team when in need of extensive repairs and other major renovations in the work area or office.
Maintain inventory of supplies.
Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using machinery.
Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, weed eating and pulling.
Perform basic handyman functions such as furniture assembly, painting, and vehicle care are required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent.
Able to read, speak and write in English.
Sensitive to confidential information.
Must work independently and as a member of team.
Working Conditions: Bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting, walking, kneeling, stooping, squatting, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, and standing (occasionally) for long periods of time.
Must demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to use hands to handle or feel objects or tools.
The essential duties of this position require moderate to heavy lifting.
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force- Occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force- Frequently, up to 20 pounds of force- Constantly moving objects.
Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
