Adjunct Instructor - Associate Degree Nursing

Job Description: Texas State Technical College is currently seeking to fill a Part-Time Nursing Adjunct Instructor for our ADN Program.

Essential Functions: Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups.
Communicate effectively orally and in written form.
Exercise sound judgment.
Model norms of behavior that reflect high expectations of Texas State Technical College.
Organize and present prepared instructional materials.
Preserve records of student attendance, student progress.
Participate in normal program housekeeping activities such as administering tests and grading.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Masters Science in Nursing degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
Exceptional cases of professional experience or credentialing in lieu of the minimum requirements may be considered.
Demonstrated competencies and specialized training in the industry as evidenced by professional industry certifications including but not limited to: State of Texas Registered Nurse and BLS from the AHA.
