Job Description: We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Agent at our National Smart Center within Visual Edge IT.
As a member of our Smart Center team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their inquiries and issues.
This role requires the ability to resolve problems by placing service calls for customers, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with exceptional customer satisfaction in mind.
Primary Responsibilities: • Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Listen to customers’ inquiries and concerns and provide timely and accurate information.
• Process tickets through the helpdesk by redirecting customers to the proper department or placing service calls.
• Place service calls for copy machine hardware, software and maintenance issues.
• Document all customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
• Attend regular training sessions to improve knowledge and skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of: • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Microsoft Office suites (Excel and Word).
Ability to: • Prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Be a strong communicator, both orally and in writing.
• Be a team-oriented, problem solver who takes ownership of work performed.
Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
College degree preferred.
Experience: Two years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment.
