Our Georgia-Pacific , gypsum plant located in Sweetwater, TX is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as an Administrative Assistant.
This individual will add value by providing administrative support to our mining operations.
This position will require attributes that exemplify someone who is detail oriented, resourceful, a critical thinker and has the ability to work with multiple teams.

Our Team There is a lot of opportunity within our Georgia-Pacific Sweetwater facility as we continue to grow.
The complex recently opened an additional facility onsite allowing for more growth opportunity for employees and our business.

What You Will Do Performing administrative duties to include: reporting management, preparing reports, filing, distributing mail, inventory, reconcile credit card transactions etc.
Processing accounting transactions (payable/receivable, general ledger) Utilize spreadsheets to maintain, track and provide data analysis Participating in the safety, compliance, and internal control efforts for the site Maintain Record Management Files Implement and monitor programs as directed by management Partake in various projects/initiatives that will benefit our internal and external customers Work closely with the Department Manager for guidance and direction Assist with day-to-day compliance requirements of applicable permits, plans, and regulations Communicate and work collaboratively with strong oral and written communication skills to various audiences as this role will require communication to all levels of the organization in a team environment.
Engage in stewardship projects at the site.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience working as an administrative assistant or related role What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications) Associate, technical or higher degree in administrative support, business management or related field • Administrative support experience in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse or military environment (SBJ1) Experience working in a Gypsum manufacturing facility At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
